I’ve always enjoyed working puzzles and, during the winter months, one can usually be found on my dining room table. During the last two years, however, it has become a year round activity for me. I often look for pieces when I can’t sleep and it’s now a morning ritual to sit down with my cup of tea, or coffee, and put a few pieces in place.
I don’t know how other people start a puzzle but I’ve always sorted out the border pieces and put them together first. Taking just a few steps beyond normal, I decided to work my last puzzle from the inside out. This was easy enough to do because of the bright colors of the birds. It was a little tougher after they were together but still manageable. It’s pretty obvious that boredom rules at my house! I need to do something about that.
