When I look back on my life, I know that it has been good but the adjective that I think best describes me is “predictable”. I did well in high school, then went to college. I was bored. I got a job, got married, built a house, had two kids. I was still bored. My husband and I became foster parents and two of those kids became forever ours. Life was chaotic, but I was still bored. I started looking for new things to do and new places to go the year I turned 50. Thirteen years later, there are still many choices available and I am passionate about my mission.
