I’ve been writing about exercise, and shoes, so now the ad below keeps popping up on my newsfeed on Facebook. I made a promise to myself that I wouldn’t get (too) political on my blog but I find myself gobsmacked by the fact that there are people who won’t get a Covid vaccination because they think they are going to be injected with a microchip tracking device. These same people are online all the time. They have cellphones. They play games that require personal information. Hello?
On Saturday, we drove by an Indian Motorcycle dealership. I made the comment that I’d never seen one before and we talked about Indian motorcycles for a minute. My phone was in my purse. That afternoon, I had ads for the same store on Facebook. A coincidence? I don’t think so. It’s kind of scary that we’ve let technology infiltrate our lives to the extent that it has. There really are no secrets.
I don’t care what people know about me. That’s fairly obvious since I write about my underwear for the whole world (optimism at its finest!) to read! Maybe it’s because I grew up with a party line telephone in a small community and everyone knew everything about me anyway. Or maybe I’m straying across the normal line again. Maybe I’ll just stay there.
And you want to know the best part? Just because they are stuffing the ad in my face doesn’t mean I have to buy those shoes! Hmmm….I wonder, though. What if they actually worked? I do like purple….

sucka!! the best way to get shoes that fit is to let a shoe salesman fit your feet. lol
