It’s the time of year when I struggle the most with leaving my house. The weather hasn’t even been bad but the grey days just drag me down. My heart isn’t into doing much of anything. I have many projects I could be working on but I lack motivation. Winter is not my friend!
While I’ve enjoyed writing my blog, I am also lacking the inspiration to keep it going. It’s hard to push doing new things when I’m literally stagnating. I need a swift kick in the butt, or maybe just a few doses of Geritol.
I’m spending my days sitting, mostly reading, and it’s pretty hard to find something to write about with my current life style. I’ve decided to change my blogging schedule from three days a week to two days a week. Starting this week, I’ll just be posting on Mondays and Thursdays. Despite my lackadaisical attitude, I still appreciate all of you who take the time to read my posts.
Choose happiness! Think sunshine! Take just a few steps beyond normal and try something new….maybe an antidepressant, but hey! If you’ve never tried it before….
Same here lady. I’ve got the winter blues.

invest in a sun lamp. SAD is real. i should know, i had a longterm boyfriend (7 years) who was heavily affected. me too to a lesser degree. bright lights definitely help.

I’ve considered doing that in years past. Knowing me, I’d buy the sun lamp and never use it!

I’ve taken a vitamin D supplement for years. Bloodwork showed I had low levels, so my doctor recommended it.
